Open to: All abilities, minimum age 17 on the day.

 

The events take place on open roads. ONLY BONE CONDUCTING HEADPHONES ALLOWED.

 

Water Stations at 6 miles.

 

Fees: £6 attached to an Athletic's Club, £8 unattached, £4 if in full-time education

Prizes: Trophies awarded to 1st, 2nd & 3rd male and female in run and walk, plus spot prizes.

Refreshments and Presentation: Please stay afterwards for refreshments, prior to presentation at Ballacloan Stadium.

Course Description:

The Northern 10 is a 10 mile walk & run on the roads around Ramsey. Starting on North Shore Road in Ramsey, outside the Ballacloan football stadium. The race heads through Parliament Square and out along the TT course towards Sulby. At Sulby Bridge the route turns right along to St Judes crossroads, then right onto Jurby Road and heads back towards Ramsey. Just before reaching the end of the Jurby Road, take a left turn along Richmond Road, then left onto Bowring Road out past The Grove Museum, right turn onto Bride Road for ¼ mile before dropping down the Vollan Hill to North Prom/seafront. On reaching the grass area athletes go on the righthand side of the BMX track and then turn right into the park, heading alongside Costa/Tennis Courts through the park and the finish is opposite the side gate to Ballacloan football pitch.
